    Q: I have never heard of iUnlockEFI, how can i make sure i am not being scammed?

    Q: I see a lot of unlocking services claiming to unlock via Hash, are they legit?
    A: No, only Apple unlocks via Hash. Do not get scammed.

    Q: Why are your unlock services so expensive on newer Macs?
    A: Because the unlock process is a lot harder and it can take a few days to unlock.

    Q: Why are there other sites charging less for unlock services?
    A: That is because other sites are either scammers or temporary unlock your Mac. You get what you pay for.

    Q: What is the process after i purchase the unlock service?
    A: You will need to ship your Mac to us so we can unlock it. (Instructions will be provided after purchase)

    Q: Do you need to wipe hard drive / ssd to unlock Mac?
    A: Yes, otherwise lock can come back.

    Q: What if i need the data on my hard drive?
    A: 98% of the time, your data is remotely wiped when your Mac becomes EFI / iCloud locked. If the data is still there we can transfer the data and restore it after the unlock process for an extra charge.

    Q: What if the hard drive has been deleted remotely?
    A: We can recover your data as long as it is a hard drive for an extra charge. Data recovery is NOT possible on ssd's.

    Q: Do i have to show proof i am the owner or have the receipt for you to unlock it?
    A: No, we do not need proof or receipt.

    Q: Do you turn the Mac on and check the lock screen message before you unlock it?
    A: No.

    Q: Do you look up the serial number to see if it has been stolen?
    A: No.

    Q: Is there a way i can see the unlock process being done?
    A: Yes, we can email you photos of the process if you like.

    Q: Will your service unlock both EFI and iCloud Password lock?
    A: Yes, our service will unlock both EFI and iCloud Passwords.

    Q: Does it matter if it has a 4 digit password or 6 digit password lock?
    A: No.

    Q: Is this unlock service permanent?
    A: Yes, after our unlock service the lock will not come back guaranteed.

    Q: Can i take out the hard drive before i ship the Mac?
    A: No, the hard drive must be in the Mac otherwise the lock can come back.

    A: Yes.

    A: The unlock service only takes about 30 mins to an hour depending on year and device.
